The Modern Home Tours, taking place Saturday, March 22, will give people a chance to explore and view some of the examples of modern architecture, including homes in Leschi and Madison Park, via a self-guided driving tour.
The home in Leschi Park (316 Lake Washington Blvd. S.), originally built in the ‘80s and recently renovated by Robert Hutchison to remain faithful to the original geometry, showcases a new vocabulary of architecture.
A home by Eric Cobb, stretching across the full southern end of the Madison Park block (4100 E. Highland Drive), features open, light-filled spaces and outdoor decks and terraces. This home was a highlight of the 2012 tour.
