Trevor Griffey will speak on Seattle's Civil Rights in the 1960s at the Seattle Public Library. The event will be on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Seattle Public Library Douglass-Truth Branch (2300 E. Yesler Way). The event is free. 

There is free parking near the branch. Griffey is a faculty member at Evergreen State College focusing on U.S. history. Griffey cofounded the seattle Civil Rights and Labor History Project. Now he's working on a digital archive of FBI files on the black freedom movement.
