Progressive Radio Northwest presents American blogger and former Seattle talk radio host David Goldstein on Tuesday, Oct. 29, for the second in its series of monthly get-togethers. Goldstein will address the question of “What’s the Way Forward for Progressive Talk?”

The forum begins at Montlake Library (2401 24th Ave. E.) at 6:30 p.m. and then moves to the Montlake Ale House (2307 24th Ave. E.) at 7:45 p.m. for those wanting to continue the meet and mingle. RSVPs are requested at progressiveradionorthwest@gmail.com.

Goldstein stumbled into politics in 2003 with a satirical statewide initiative to officially proclaim Washington’s serial anti-tax-initiative sponsor Tim Eyman “a horse’s ass.” A year later, Goldstein transformed his campaign website, HorsesAss.org, into a national political blog.

Goldstein hosted “The David Goldstein Show” on 710 AM-KIRO from 2006 through 2008 and is currently a staff writer for The Stranger. His writing has also appeared on the Huffington Post and in The Nation.
