Paving crews from the Seattle Department of Transportation will grind and pave Lake Washington Boulevard from Madrona Drive to East Columbia Street on Saturday, May 17, and Sunday, May 18, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Lake Washington Boulevard will reduce to one lane, with traffic in alternating directions assisted by traffic flaggers. Bicycles will detour to the pathway along the lake.

Metro service will not be interrupted. All sidewalks and crosswalks will remain open.

Madrona Park, in 800 block of Lake Washington Boulevard, will not be accessible by vehicles during this work.

This is part of the SDOT 2014 paving program.
